Have a sewing machine but aren't sure where to start? This class is the perfect introduction to building confidence behind your machine!
Join us for our Beginner Sewing Machine Class, where you'll learn the essential skills every sewist needs. We'll cover sewing machine basics, including machine setup, threading, winding and inserting a bobbin, understanding basic stitches, proper machine operation, and helpful sewing tips to get you started with confidence.
You'll also complete a simple beginner-friendly project designed to help you practice the techniques you've learned during class.
What to Bring:
- Your sewing machine (in good working order)
- Power cord and foot pedal
- Machine manual (if available)
- Machine accessories
Prior to class, you'll receive an email with a complete supply list of sewing notions and accessories to bring. This list will include the basic tools needed to help you successfully complete your project and get the most out of your class experience.
Whether your machine is brand new or has been sitting in the closet for years, we're here to help you become comfortable using it in a relaxed, encouraging environment. No previous sewing experience is required—we'll guide you every step of the way!
