Let's talk about strength!
For the first time, a full aluminum casting provides comprehensive support from the front, back, and top. The design incorporates three linear guides and twenty-three bearings—twelve ball bearings and eleven needle bearing sets—for exceptional stability and precision. Equipped with brushless DC motors that last up to 350% longer than traditional embroidery motors, this unit delivers unmatched durability. Engineered for superior performance, it stands as the fastest embroidery machine in the industry, achieving speeds of up to 1,200 stitches per minute.
let's talk about HD Embroidery!
Extra-Large Embroidery Area Our largest hoops and embroidery area ever! Our RE46d Hoop offers 11.3” x 18.2” of embroidery area. Created with Carbon Fiber infused plastic, this large hoop is 10X stronger than metal! No other machine can offer such a large area, and guarantee the stability and precision of Janome embroidery, even when embroidering at speeds up to 1200spm. Four included hoops have been created with a new easy-to-hoop lever system, as well as hoop size detection. Bonus Quilt Kit includes the AcuFil hoop, a great tool for quilting in the hoop.
let's talk HD Quilting
Our AcuFeed Layered Fabric Feeding System has long been legendary in the sewing and quilting world for its amazing precision and power. We’ve taken it to the next level with AcuFeed Flex Plus. The system is still removable but, adding and removing it from the machine has become more advanced - adding another layer of reliability and control. After attaching the AcuFeed foot, simply touch the AcuFeed icon on your screen to engage or disengage the dedicated motor designed specifically for this feature! AcuFeed Flex comes in three useful options. The two-pronged AcuFeed feet advances fabric flawlessly from the top and bottom. Use this system for quilting, seaming, and traditional sewing. Our special one-pronged AcuFeed feet give precise control for more detailed work, like installing zippers and matching seams. And, our HP2 AcuFeed foot is designed to work with our HP plate, for the highest level of stitch results.
lets talk about HD Sewing
The Continental M17 includes an amazing array of built-in stitches and embroidery designs. You’ll find 850 built in stitches, including 13 different styles of buttonholes (and with Stitch Composer your stitch count is infinite). Three fonts provide variety for decorative stitch monogramming.
let's talk trust!
The Founding Of New Home
In 1860, William Barker and Andrew J. Clark began producing the “New England Single Thread Hand Sewing Machine” in Orange, Massachusetts. Over the next 20 years, the New England machine and the “Home Shuttle” were their two most significant products. In 1882, the company reformed under the name New Home (a combination of the labels New England and Home Shuttle), and it continued to operate under that name for the better part of a century. In 1960, ninety-three years after Barker and Clark first collaborated, New Home and the “New Home” brand were purchased by the Janome Sewing Machine Company of Tokyo, Japan.

Janome Begins
In Japanese, the word Janome (pronounced Ja-NO-me) means “eye of the snake.” The company earned the name in the 1920s when founder Yosaku Ose, a pioneer in Japanese sewing manufacturing, began to use a round metal bobbin system instead of the traditional long shuttle. The Japanese thought the new round bobbin looked like a snake’s eye, and from the innovative design, a name was born.
Janome has been leading the industry with such innovation ever since. The company now has sewing divisions in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Europe, Australia and New Zealand as well as agents in Africa, Central and South America and throughout the Pacific Rim of Asia. The company’s manufacturing prowess has also made it a world-leader in the production of high precision robots.
In 1979, Janome technology introduced the world’s first programmable, computer sewing machine – the MEMORY 7. Today, our Memory Craft computer models consistently stand out in the industry for their ease of use and precise stitch results.
