This is for Baby Lock, Brother, Viking Embroidery Machines that use USB technology to load designs
Each class part has the supply list of what to bring each week, and each week is different
Part 1-February 20, 9:30-12noon-In this class we will discuss looking for embroidery designs & downloading those embroidery designs from the Internet to your computer. We will discuss everything from design file size to organizing your computer so that you can find those designs once you download them! You will need your laptop computer, external mouse (NOT THE INTERNAL MOUSEPAD), USB Memory stick. You will NOT need your embroidery machine. That is not until Part 3.
Part 2-February 27, 9:30-12noon- In this class we are going to learn about the most commonly used stabilizers and why do we need more than tear-away. We will discuss spray adhesives and floating your stabilizer instead of hooping. In this class we will discuss embroidery needles and more. We will have samples of stabilizers and stitch-outs to teach you about stabilizing your embroidery designs to achieve professional results with your designs. This is lecture-demo discussion and everything is supplied for you.
Part 3-March 5, 9:30-12noon-In this class-we embroider! We will use the embroidery design that you downloaded from Part 1 class and the knowledge you learned about stabilizers, needles and techniques in Part 2 and learn how to actually embroider correctly and easily with your new embroidery machine. You will need your embroidery machine, embroidery unit, cord, embroidery foot, USB Memory stick loaded with your design that we downloaded in Part 1, Stabilizer discussed in Part 2, embroidery thread as discussed in part 1 for your design, pre-wound bobbin and the bobbin spacer, 505 spray adhesive, scissors to trim, and any questions you have written down for us to discuss.
